Panel 5, "everytthing" should only have one t.
Panel 6, "while a move" should be "while I move".

Don't forget Panel 1, "you father" should be "your father"

Not a strip typo, but... the note on the main page about shooting for updates on Tuesdays and Fridays is dated 8/21/2021. Surely that should be 6/21/2021... or else Pete is actually a Time Lord.

IMO, only the typos in the notes in pink boxes should be mentioned. Those stay. The ones in blue are removed after a while.

Strip for 07-Sep-2021, "hast" is the second person singular of have, not first person e.g. "Thou hast" vs. "I have".

Strip for 10-Sep-2021:

So much. Doth is third-person singular, as is wot, and it would be said "Wist thou" anyways. Thou is the subjective case, and thee is the objective case. So "Tales of thou" should be "Tales of thee" just as much as "Tales of I" would be properly rendered as "Tales of me".

"I wot from my Grandfather" is a bit odd, and honestly I'm not sure of the first person singular conjugation of the word.

"Looking upon thou" should be "looking upon thee", "any whom" should be "any who".

"Thou hast" is actually right, bravo. However, in the next sentence, "Doth thou regard me a monster" should be either "Dost thou regard me a monster" or "Regardest thou me a monster".

"Sometimes the tales hast thou" should be "Sometimes the tales haveth thee".

Then we have the same "Doth / Regardeth" issue as before, which should probably be put "Which regardeth thou as true?".

Might could be mightest, but it's not Middle English anyhow, so it doesn't really matter. And it should by "thyself".

The simple trick to remember the difference between "thee" and "thou" is to replace them mentally, respectively, with "me" and "I".

Agreed with most points, but in the host of them a few mistakes crept in.

"Wist thou who I am" could be expressed more succinctly as "Kenst me?". I have to admit to being somewhat partial to that variant because it is homonymous (and actually cognate) with modern German dialect.

At this point would come another correction: it is "Thou art" rather than "Thou are".

Nope. "Sometimes the tales have thee". "haveth" would be singular number but the subject "the tales" is plural.

No, "Which regardest thou as true?". "thou" as subject is 2nd person, not 3rd.

Middle English is something quite different (like in Chaucer's "Canterbury Tales"). What we are talking about here is Early Modern English. There may be some sprinklings/holdouts of Middle English for effect (that would have sounded quaint but intelligible in Elizabethan times). But the bulk is straightforward Early Modern English, the language of Shakespeare and the King James V Bible.

"Thou might" is wrong since "thou" requires a matching singular verb form, typically "thou mightst" (the original 2nd person singular verb forms disappeared when the plural "ye"/"you" supplanted the singular "thou"/"thee" first as a respectful and then general form in use).

Oh, and of course "thou ... thyself" rather than "thou ... yourself".

There is enough nitpicking for everyone here!

All the best

UPDATE 9/17/21: Done updating the strips! Probably made more typos.

Only two that I noticed. Both in panel 4 of https://archives.sluggy.com/book.php?ch ... 2021-09-10:
"he tales" should be "the tales"
and
"Aother tales" should be "And other tales".

And the dialog in panel 3 of https://archives.sluggy.com/book.php?ch ... 2021-09-17 is missing a final period.

This "correcting" Pete on his dialog for the time period, was fine at first, but now it is becoming a bit annoying.

No berating intended, and apologies for any annoyance. Hopefully, mine will be the last post on the subject. :-)

Zill is mostly railing against the Anglo-Saxon pedant(s). The correcting of typos has never been an issue.

Minor pedantry: someone earlier mentioned the "my / mine" usage, similar to "a / an." Use "my" when it's followed by a consonant, "mine" when followed by a vowel.

Using that rule, I see at least two whoopsies:

Panel 6 of https://archives.sluggy.com/book.php?ch ... 2021-09-15:
"This shall be my end?" Should be "mine end?"

Panel 4 of https://archives.sluggy.com/book.php?ch ... 2021-09-17:
"To never gaze upon mine face." Should be "my face."

@Dodger77: Oh, I knew that - but pointing out a typo at that point felt like I was jumping on top of the pile...

Panel 1. I'm pretty sure that the first two words should be "There are" rather than "There is"

10/20, 4th panel, "this Queen" should be "his Queen".
