Hey, look! It's the first strip of April! But unfortunately it's not the First of April... *sigh* Guess we'll foolishly have to make do with the Fifth of April instead. ---- Please vote for Sluggy Freelance at Top Web Comics. Remember to vote every day.

Hey, Ozzid stealing food! Right after I wondered in the last thread how Siphy gets food during her journeys. Maybe Pete saw it.

Well, things seem to take a turn that is not as bad as what it could have been.
However, I am noticing the hut she is living in seems to have peculiar bearing structure. Seeing the reputation tied to such an house, I am not entirely optimistic.
Stay Good Siphy, Stay good!

She should probably not mess around with any temporal spells while in that house.
One thing I having trouble grappling with about this story is with all this exposure to the Book of Gud, you'd think K'Z'K would have had a better idea of what it was about when he came across it during the Stormbreaker Saga.

It's not know if K'Z'K can hear everything said around the book, Farhan and him aren't always on the most cooperative level. Also, she doens't actually say it contains only image and K'Z'K might assume that it only hurt Ozid because it's a lesser demon.

Well, even with Allie, who had for more control over the book, K'Z'K clearly had enough awareness on what was going on outside the book to comment on how she was treating his followers.
Does he only have access to what Farahn allows him to see/hear? Maybe, but Farahn doesn't seem to be particularly discerning in that regard.
To be fair, K'Z'K, although often quite effectively manipulative and exhibiting the ability to execute long game plans, has also not always been the brightest bulb and seems to have grown more clever since his earlier experiences with the main cast.

Panel 4 seems like a really good illustration of the 'passive negligence' Sevra mentioned.

At first, I thought she was using the book of Gud as a tanning light
