If Frog is really dead, he deserved a better death than that. I kind of doubt that Pete would let him off that easy though...

I've always found Frog rather irritating (I know he's supposed to be, and he succeeded a little too well), so if he stays dead this way, I'd find it hilarious.

I doubt Pete really killed Frog, but a comical death would be kind of fitting for him, and this was definitely comical.

Frog, Bun-bun, and Kiki's reactions are perfect! I don't remember them ever meeting before either, so I think you are good, Pete!

It was nagging at me since last time, but I couldn't really put it into words how bad Torg keeping the war from Riff is on a personal level until... well... Torg actually said it here. A vampire attack is less important that saving Gwynn. Torg (at Bun-bun's suggestion, admittedly) is assuming that Riff - with his long tumultuous affection for Gwynn - would think she was less important than fighting another war and abandon her, same as he's assuming Aylee - Gwynn's best friend - would think of saving her as less important than being mad at him.
He's trying to be heroic, but instead he's showing his friends that he has no faith in them or how much they care for one another. This ain't gonna end well.

Agreed. I don't know how much time is supposed to have passed in the Sluggyverse but these people have known each other way too long and have been through too much together to be still keeping secrets from each other. If Gwynn keeps her book problem from Aylee, I am not going to be happy about that.

If Gwynn keeps her book problem from Aylee, I am not going to be happy about that. It's nearly impossible for Gwynn to share her problem with anyone, and I expect Aylee is especially hard. She came to Torg in a dream, while sleeping nearby, and only had a couple panels before the bug/king came and inturrupted. Aylee isn't even human, I'm not sure she does dream and I doubt she would be able to make the necessary logical leaps even if Gwynn did come to her, assuming Gywnn can even go to anyone at all now that the bug/king is in her dreams too.

I don't think keeping this vampire war from Riff is as bad as keeping Gwynn's problem from Aylee. Riff has already demonstrated that he exercises poor judgement when it comes to vampires, and Torg in particular has good reason to want to keep him away from Sam. If Riff finds out about this and gets angry, then Torg would not at all be out of place to tell him that: "You're a zealot when it comes to vampires, and given your past behavior I'll do whatever it takes to keep you away from Sam." Riff might get angry over this, but it's justified.
As for Aylee... the thing is, she doesn't need space. They've been separated for years. She needs to spend time with the real Torg who cares about her, rather than the imaginary Torg in her head who she resents. Their relationship can't improve if they don't have any contact.
Regarding Frog: Bun Bun officiated the wedding for Shankcraft and the one from the scary village. We don't see Frog at the wedding, but we do see him at the reception. Except he's locked in a cage, so maybe the implication is that he wasn't at the wedding. I dunno.

Do you think Frog is seeing a bright, white light at the end of a tunnel ... and waiting there are 4,032 Corsica's???
If so, he might not WANT to be resuscitated.
I also find it hard to believe Frog and Bun Bun never actually saw each other, but my memory for 20+ years of Sluggy isn't good enough to be sure...

Are we going to get a lot of filler "frog resuscitation attempts" like we had with "corsica deaths"?

Enjoying the return of a more godlike Bun Bun. Felt like he was half-checked out for some of the Casino/Oasis arc, although he's large and in charge again. And always nice to see his "training" moments with Torg, his Human pet. ;)
Although I'm still trying to figure out how he got around to forgiving the group the damage to his cash flow and the loss of his Casino, guess we'll have to see what he's been up to since Space Piracy went bad.
