Aww, Wednesday is disappointed we didn't get a shopping montage or a N'aaaaw eating people montage. Wednesday is sad now... ---- Vote for Sluggy Freelance at Top Web Comics. Remember to vote every day.

In panel 4, either Aylee scared Bun-Bun so much he lost his spots or Pete forgot something.
We still don't know if that's a black shirt over her shell or if that's her actual shell.

I was a little surprised that she kicked Bun-bun it after apparently putting up with him for a long time.

This would be a good place for Torg to have remembered the moral he said he'd learnt at the end of "Cannibals Anonymous". Especially listening with his heart. I give it good odds they could have resolved this already if he listened and showed he understood. People are always really wanting that, even when they don't know it themselves.
Of course, she didn't give him much time to stop being surprised and start listening after she actually started talking about what was on her mind.
Anyway, so this form is cool after all, not because of the physical details but because of the character development. I guess she specifically did not like Zoƫ saying she looks amazing because of this.

About the ref links, it's worth noting that an other consequence of each time Aylee has been stabbed is that Torg left her behind her afterward.
I don't completely blame Torg, he had his reasons, after all (second time, he didn't even had any control at all on the situation), but I understand How Aylee feel about it.

Aww, I knew she missed her previous form.
Also, Torg -- wrong decision AGAIN!

As usual Bun-Bun knows what he's talking about and Torg's being an idiot. His idea to try to get Aylee to forgive him is to do exactly what she's mad about: leaving her out of things.

Oh, Torg. Clearly the best way to make Aylee feel better about being abandoned by the group and you in particular is to leave her out of a clearly important situation involving her best friend. That's sure to work.

Not gonna lie... That last panel... Torg, with Bun-Bun on his shoulder, is *everything* I love about this comic.

That's sure to work. But part of what Aylee is annoyed about is them only wanting her when she's useful. Torg is in a bit of a Catch-22 here. Either disrespect her space and try and prove he's going to be there for her by staying. Or give her the space she's asking for but appear flighty.
