The username of the admin account used to unlock their cryopods is 'root'. This is a general name for an account with pretty near all the permissions, and provides little to no information on the identity of the person who logged on.
Whoever it was got the right password on the first try every time. The commands were entered with no errors, and no attempt was made to look at any files or display any help regarding command options.

Alright so how badly have we been robbed? Is he saying we don't have the money because the price he'd charge is too high, or we don't have the money because he took it already and isn't willing to consider that a finder's fee?

The price he'd charge is more than you had on you. (Which he took, anyway).
To be fair, you didn't have much actually on you, because you were going to first find out how much it cost and then get the money from the Pandions to pay that cost in any case.

What did Arkady actually have in his pockets aside from his religious artifacts, and what has he lost?

I had been assuming that, since you knew you were heading into a den of thieves and pickpockets, you'd all prepared by making sure that you had Nothing Of Importance in your pockets.

Arkady can still roll Empathy to estimate how much worth the kid puts in the information and we can guesstimate the amount of money he might want from that.

That was a pretty good Empathy roll.

On the one hand, going in there now seems like a tremendously bad idea.
On the other hand, given his distaste of poisons the kid might be a possible sympathizer that could join our side, assuming we can figure out if he'd not rat us out for coin.
Might be best to just pack our bags up and head out to Rendor to get the Darestim ourselves.

I was thinking that if the Pandions are footing the bill, we quietly rent the whole resturaunt out and pack it with knights in plain cloths. It would send a variety of messages, and we'd have lots of muscle to back us up should things turn sideways.

I think that the Primate would find out about that before the food made it to the table. That would make the odds of things going sideways a lot higher.

Maybe just fill it with Pandions? Say they're celebrating someones birthday? Company party? Little-known day of celebration that only the Pandions observe?

We'd have to check with them if that's the sort of thing they do, and Harga's is the sort of place they do it. That aside, is a young street criminal really going to want to show up to a Pandion party?

The Primate is a churchman. He can be expected to know all about the Pandion's little-known days of celebration.
Having said that, there's enough of them that there's almost certainly one of them whose birthday is within a week or two, so it wouldn't exactly be unreasonable to ask them, if that's a strategy you want to try.

He'll show up to a Padion party if he doesn't know there's a party of Pandions inside. Even just having a dozen or so show up and sit down at the same table as the meeting will have the desired effect. Let the rest of the theives have a good time. The kid and more likely his boss will want to know what kind of backing we have, and they'll probably find out in a few weeks once word of mouth spreads and word of the ambush at Castle Radun reaches the capitol. I get the feeling that the Pandion Order is generally respected and trusted, and having them there, even if they don't actually say anything will be enough for a few puzzle pieces to start falling together. Someone who is working with the Pandions is unlikely to be poisoning someone. Someone who is working with the Pandions is also not someone to lightly betray. The Primate may take umbridge with the Pandion order moving large numbers of troops into the city, but if a few dozen knights were to decide to round up a few criminal ringleaders to pacify the rest of the criminal element overnight, the Primate wouldn't be able to do much.
