You know I could smack myself right now. If they can get her here and in a cryo pod we might have more than enough time to get things restored. Get the ship powered and a team of all our absolute best doctors. There's still enough power in the ship to keep them going. Unless it requires an incredible amount of resources prepping the person for cryo or a massive spike in power to start the freezing process it might help us in the short term to put the Queen on ice.

I was thinking of tearing one out of the deck and shoving in in the back of a wagon with a couple car batteries and a scavenged solar panel. Bring the doc along and freeze her on the spot, then we can take our time bringing her back and restoring power to the rest of the ship. Well, you know, beside the need to restore power to the ship for all the other highly pressing reasons of great importance.

Does my previous Science roll still stand for the medical diagnosis? If so could it help me determine if we can save her with this new information? I mean I figure we can remove the poison (especially if we determine what was used and make an anti venom) and setup some life support machinery to keep her alive afterwards. That's certainly possible, right?

It's possible. It's by no means certain. At the very least, the Queen will need the poison removed; she will need a pacemaker; very probably a dialysis machine. She will never be strong, but she could live for years.
But those first ten minutes, after the crystal goes down, will be touch-and-go. And you will absolutely have to have every necessary piece of equipment on the spot and ready to go. (Interestingly, you wouldn't need more than two trained and prepared doctors - more would crowd the patient).
The medical bay certainly has the equipment to spare. It was intended to handle the entire cryofrozen population of the ship - and there are spares of spares of spares. You probably have enough medical equipment to treat the entire capital city to spare, never mind just the Queen.
Medicines might be trickier, but with ten months, an expert herbalist, and some conversations with the local doctors, you should be able to get everything you need, no problem.

I don't quite understand what Sir Sparhawk is saying. Is he saying he wants us to prepare to go to the capital now, or saying that he's wanting to leave the people there to help us get our own situation in order in preparation for going to the capital at a later time?

I know that Felix likely put some work in redesigning the cart for the trade trip, but I keep imagining the carts as all being designed for horses to begin with and the characters freaking out over it. It's hilarious.
Felix: Why were they made for horses? We didn't bring any horses! Who does that?!

They're probably all dead now, if we even brought any. Wouldn't we need animals to implant the embryos in?
