I just wanted to say that in my opinion Gunnerkrigg Court is the best damn comic on the internetz apart from Sluggy.

Oh, you saw me on the forums :>

And yeah, it's pretty great! All it needs is a bigger back catalogue!

That's true. If only it updated every day (including weekends), and the archive was ten years long.

Still, the archive is nothing to sneeze at as it is.

Hate you guys. Just spent the last few hours on that comic. Good stuff.

.but you do get kind of spoiled when one of the first comics you read, is Sluggy xD If my calculations are right, the SF catalogue should be around 5-6000 updates, including fillers.

I know! That's why I'm always so mystified when people say Sluggy's huge archive is an obstacle to new readers. Why the heck would anyone want to be limited to only one update per day? With Sluggy's archive you can have as many updates per day as you want.
Personally I don't even bother with a webcomic unless the archive is at least about a quarter as long as Sluggy's. It's just not worth it.

Gunnerkrigg Court is a fabulous webcomic.
When I started reading Sluggy, it was only, two, maybe 3 years into production and it took me 3 days to finish it. I can't imagine now, almost 15 years later how long it would take. It's definitely a lot to take in, but so worth the effort!
