Ruan! Awww, Ruan, looks like I'm voting for you.

"I cannot act further without more information and I will not make another accusation. I will abstain from this vote. Perhaps I can use my favor to do some good this eve and undo any wrong that may be done."

"Ruan wins!" announces CCC, carrying a large and very wobbly green jelly* into the room. Leaving the jelly on the table, he produces the BanHammer, and spins it around his head a few times.

*whummmm-whummmmmmmmmm-whummm-whummmmmmmmmmm*

"Any last words, Ruan?"

*The sort that is largely gelatin, not the sort that one puts on bread with peanut butter.

"Alas, my lady, you do me wrong, to treat me so discourteously..." The old man turns toward the Banhammer. "... but yet, at last, a worthy foe." Ruan mounts upon his spavined horse and readies his lance. "Avaunt, foul hammer of darkness. Let the hells drag thee back to thy home. Even if thou strike me, what is pain to the knight errant? What matter wounds? For each time I fall, I shall rise again and WOE TO THE WICKED!"

The old man readies his lance, listening to a song that only he can hear. As he spurs his horse onward, the song bursts from his lips, a wild and happy smile on his face.

"Oh the trumpets of glory
Now call me to ride,
Yes, the trumpets are calling to me,
And wherever I ride,
Ever staunch at my side
My squire and my lady shall be!
I am I, Ruan Quixote...
The Lord of la Sluggite
My destiny calls and I go!

And so he charges the Banhammer, a song in his heart and a smile on his lips.

CCC spins the BanHammer, in a manner strangely reminiscent of a windmill. *whummmm-whummmmmmmmm-whummmm-whummmmmmmmm-WHAM!

Ruan Quixote's armour fails him; the elderly knight is gone in an instant, banned from the thread.

"Oooh, it only took one hit." says CCC. "That means that Ruan was not a weremod."

"Night roles, please send in your PMs."

*gasp!*

"I've been fooled!" weatherwax cries.

"A wrong has been done. I shall do what I can to remedy this evil."

Once again, CCC flicks off the light switch. There's a *whummmm-whummmmmmmm-whummm-whummmmmmmm-WHAM!* noise, and then the lights come on again.

Chaosman... is gone. Banned. Sent to the Banhammered thread. On the other hand... Ruan is, amazingly, back.

It seems that it's true... when he falls, he does rise again. And WOE TO THE WICKED!

From the screams of the hellish places of the internet Ruan Quixote rides back, carefully navigating onto the thread. "You." The knight points his lance toward Kajin. "You were the one. You are he, the foul, lily livered knave who claims innocence for a false face. You, who caused a brave knight to sacrifice his life, that my own death shall not be in vain. You!"

"Oh, dear. I suppose Kajin is the baddie. Sorry, Ruan."

Weatherwax hangs her head.

"Wheeee!" says CCC. "A vote! Oooh, I wonder who Ruan will vote for!"

Hey, Ruan? I'm kinda waiting on you to cast your vote before I go into my evil monologue.

Ruan Quixote is currently ranting his own dialogue. Has been for the past week. He does, finally, vote: Kajin, because obviously Kajin has to be the evil mastermind behind it all.

"Ooooh, two votes! One more vote to go! Ooooh, I wonder if Kajin will also vote for Kajin!"

You know what? I think that I'm going to vote for...

The lights go out. A drumroll sounds. Then, all of a sudden, the room is filled with the blinding intensity of broadway stagelights shining down on the stage of a theater that has somehow managed to go unnoticed the entire game.

Myself!

The black obsidian statue known as Kajin, now sporting a fancy cane and tophat, stands upon the stage at the center of the spotlights. He makes a magnificent flourish of his tophat as he bows down. A fuzzy white kitten of pure cuddly evil winds itself around his leg as the dark lord Kajin makes his speech.

It was I. I am the villain that has been banning the players left and right the entire game! With my magnificent plan to get you, the players, to ban each other as well, I had been planning on winning this game! But thanks to that accursed chaosman, Ruan Quixote has been unbanned from the misty banned depths of the... banned! Um... Where was I?

Kajin coughs, quickly turning to consult his notes before addressing the players again.

Oh yeah! And I would have gotten away with it too, if it weren't for you meddling Sluggites!

Kajin stands around, looking somewhat awkward for a minute or two before shrugging.
