"'ello!" Pretty shouts rather instinctually.

"I can still see my hands." muses New Kid, just before walking into whoever was in front of him. "Sorry," he apologises, taking his hands from his eyes. "Either my hands are emitting light, or my eyes are, or more likely I'm looking by some means other than light and my brain is transforming it into a more familiar visual metaphor. Only there's no shadows. I wonder why not?"

"'ello, 'ello, 'ello" the sound echos off down the hall. "G'bye, g'bye, g'bye" it echos back.

Ginger starts at the echoed reply. "I hope I'm not the only one that heard that. Because if I am, I think I'd take my chances with the malicious fairy."

Beefy chuckles, and then laughs.

"It's a joke! Ha ha ha!"

The kid has a serious look on his face.

"This place is wrong."

He looks up at Beefy, his expression softening, before returning his gaze to the ground.

Beefy stops laughing.

"That is also true. We must be wary."

Beefy continues to move down the nigh-endless corridor.

"Wait, wait."

The Lady looks closer at the opening in the wall, puts a hand through it.

"What's in here? I know curiousity isn't really rewarded here, but an opening in the wall...I'd like to know."

It's rather larger than a mere opening - it's more like there is an entire hallway that runs parallel to this one. The opening is the entryway to the other hallway. The only difference is, this one isn't endless. Looking left, it looks as if the hallway goes down for a bit, then turns left as if it'd go right back into the infinite hallway... only instead it's another hallway. It doesn't quite make logical sense. Looking right, it goes down for a bit, and then turns left, away from the infinite hallway.

Behind them, from the way they came, everyone hears a faint grinding sound, as if stone is moving against stone.

The Lady reels back, looking down the "endless" hallway, then back at the parallel.

"Ahhhhh, I'm not staying here," she says, walking into the parallel hallway. "Boys? Ginger? Are you going to join me?"

"It would be smarter than waiting to be crushed to death, yes."

Beefy looks at the Boy.

"What do you think, lad?"

*grind, crunch, crunch crunch* The grinding sounds are starting to get closer, intermixed with sound all for the world like very heavy footsteps.

"No thinking, come on!" She grabs for as many hands and sleeves as she can to pull through the opening.

Pretty is grabbed by Lady and pulled through the entry rather easily due to is weedy frame.

Beefy ushers the rest through the gap and steps through into the other hallway last.

"Alright, we move."
