The other day I watched Hudson Hawk and as a result had Swing on a Star stuck in my head the next day. So I decided if I was going to deal with it that I would in turn infect other people. Anyone else have ear worms that you feel like sharing/inflicting?

For some reason I had the music from the bike section of Battletoads stuck in my head all day. I haven't played the game in years.

Isn't it funny how video game songs just come out of nowhere? I get a mix of Castlevanias of all eras, the forest maze from Super Mario RPG, pretty much everything from Earthbound and the main theme of Lufia. Aaaand now you know what era of gaming I came into.

My wife was singing Lady Gaga songs earlier (to be deliberately annoying). Gaga rates just below Black Eyed Peas for me as producer of the most obnoxious earworms possible.
Fortunately I read the Homer Price books --I know how to exterminate earworms.

This guy is the most annoying advertiser I've ever seen. He buys up the best advertising slots on virtually every local and cable TV station and all the local radio stations and uses the exact same earworm jingle in every single one of his obnoxious, inane commercials (along with every other cheap psychological trick in the book). People who have been to his dealership tell me it is just as much of a circus in real life as his commercials. I've developed a strong conditioned reflex to immediately mute or switch away from his commercials every single time, they are just too much for me. I've gotten pretty good at finding, grabbing and using the remote to stop him in only a second or two. Unfortunately, it is not uncommon for me to change the channel or station away from one of his commercials only to get instantly assailed by his blaring voice on the new channel or station too. He drives me so nuts that it is probably bad for my blood pressure. I have no idea how he makes enough money to pay for all that advertising, but apparently his style actually works on some people. *shakes head* I would feel too guilty for sharing that if I didn't also share my favorite anti-earworm song of awesomeness. Yep, another video game song. I use it to drive the most annoying stuff out of my head. Some of the old video game songs that occasionally come out of nowhere for me are often Final Fantasy IX or Tactics stuff, or Smash Brothers (N64). I played way too much of all of those back in the day.

I still haven't played either of the Mass Effects, but that was excellent. Galaxy Hunter wrote: Just in case, here's the song I used to forget that Plants v. Zombies song.
