I, also, was in no way thinking that in any shape or form.

Hell, I don't even understand it.

Just remember, I'm always willing to stand between you and rule 34...no matter the cost to me personally.

No, if you'll excuse me, I have to go defragment the HDD of an eMac.

I just wanna know what that guy was on. That was the most amazing farrago of...of arrant nonsense I've ever seen. The scary part was, it almost made sense in places. Almost.

TLL- yup, schizophrenia can be surprisingly self-consistent, if you accept the illogical premise. I've met some very intelligent people with some very unfortunate disorders; one was a petroleum engineer with a PhD. He went off his meds, and within a few days was seeing secret agents and aliens following him. Once we had him stabilized on his meds, he gave me a very disturbing glimpse into how it feels to descend into insanity. He was a very smart guy, and very insightful as well- the worst part was how he described how everything was absolutely real and reasonable inside of the delusion.

Same thing is likely going on here- this guy, if not faking, is drawing from several sources, believing he's revealing the TRUTH to the world. Delusions of grandeur, loss of contact with reality, messianic complex; I could pretty much diagnose the guy within DSM-IV guidelines just from what's on the site.

I'm not sure how to say it but......that guy is compelling. I actually had to force myself to stop reading. It is saved in my favorites tho.

"Your midday is someone else's midnight, someone else's sundown and even someone else's sunup." Just beautiful.

I agree he is completely insane but...wow. Compelling.

Personally, I don't find it compelling at all. I can't immerse in something with internal logic that self-referential.

That bit about "Your midday is someone else's midnight..." is even true, going to show that even a stopped chronometer is right once in a millenium.

Old Crow, yeah, I was going to go with '4 dimensions, 1 bridge' but yours works well too.

Heh, yeah it's a little disconcerting whenever he says something that makes sense. At one point he says something along the lines of "A mother and a baby are always the same age. When a baby is one day old, its mother has been a mother for exactly one day." And I thought, "That's true! I have no idea what it has to do with anything, but it's true." But then it occured to me that when I was one day old, my mother had been a mother for about 4 years already. And all was right with the world once more =).

And wow, I'd seen that site before, but his racist rants against Obama are new(ish). At least he's trying to stay topical.

Mother has a second baby; completely useless emotional argument == refuted.

That's about as close as I found, and that's not quite right - I wouldn't go so far as to call it actively evil.
