I like how the word-replacement's affect the forum descriptions now. Now that [someone's] underpants are a banned topic, does that mean we can talk about DBs? ;-)
edit: And Grillick, where the heck is this anti ninja warning you speak of?

The anti-ninja warning tells you if someone has posted to the thread between the time you begin composing a reply and the time you try to post it. Instead of posting, it warns you that you've been "ninja'd" and shows you the posts that were made, so you can decide if you want to change your post.

I looked at the DB.
There seems to be two options:
"PHPBB Builtin Search" or "MySQL Built in Search".
We're using PHPBB Built in, and I see no way tyo reindex.
I can try switching to the MYSQL Builtin

There a reason that suddenly the chat forums are beneath the RPG forums as opposed to how it used to be?
EDIT several seconds and one refresh later: And now its back. Crazy.

Something weird is going on with Introductions, wherein the boards will always tell me that there is an unread message, even when there is not.

Oh, there's a ninja in the text. Do you really think you'd be able to see it, though?

Her email address is just cooler that [email protected], and the first time I got one, I thought I was in trouble for accidentally breaking the server, or somesuch. I can get used to it, of course, but I just felt like sharing. (Edited to remove email addresses from easy spambot reading) Aww, how sweet. Just never send me email at the dot com address only dot net. I notice the PM notifications are coming from wilee again. It's so much easier to pronounce than bwmcadams.

Just ran across an interesting oddity. I just posted to a thread in Introductions. Going back to the Board Index, it shows a new message waiting in Introductions. I click on Introductions, and lo! there are no flagged as having new messages. Fun, hey? Not a big problem at all, but something to keep in mind when bug squishing. Oh, and reading the thread that I'd posted to does not get rid of the New Messages flag in the Board Index page. [cue Twilight Zone theme] --tll

I was surprised at the lack of post counts on this board. I've since decided I like it better that way. I'm not complaining, just casting my vote for "take out the post count if we ever figure out how." Good job on the redesign. I know it's important to update the websites if only for server-load issues. Of course it takes some readjustment, but if it has to happen it has to happen.

Introductions still seem to have an unread posts flag after I've read them all.

So, how the heck do you move entire threads, anyway?
