What's become of the the Sluggy Dialogue Search and the comprehensive character list? IIRC, both those features used to be hosted at Sluggy.net, but I can't find them now. Am I just being clueless, or have they moved or ceased to exist?

Dave Rhodes put a very basic one together here:
http://sluggysearch.php0h.com/

I don't beleive it's complete yet, though, so feel free to transcribe some strips while you're at it.

EDIT: D'oh -- that's the link the above link links to. And now "link" no longer looks like a real word.

Thanks very much. It looks like the original search I was looking for died in a crash of Sluggy.net some time ago, so I'm glad it's being rebuilt.

Yup, that's me, and that's my search! As STG said, not all strips are in the database yet, but even at 37% (at time of writing), it's pretty useful, if I do say so myself!
As Dot pointed out, here's the thread for it. Please post any comments/questions/suggestions/complaints in there, I want to make this search as useful as possible. :sasha:

The person who maintained the character list abandoned it long ago.

Would be nice to resurrect - I have some things in mind.
