In the two TBT threads in FRPG the data from wednesday is missing.
Oh mighty Thyla could you please remedy this?

crossroads said not to post... which would have worked, and that was my origional plan... but i noticed eventually that everyone was carrying on anyway, same old random sillyness as before, and perhaps that was even better. What better way to thwart someones attempt at making you unhappy but to enjoy it?

Has the fact that I saw Bun Bun white all over in the comic in the morning anything to do with the hacker or it's just my eyes?

Thank you for the clarification Thyla. I posted too, soon, for once looked around I saw that the marauding hacker had messed with almost everything from wednesday! I must have been oblivious or something...

Any word on legal action, or the possibility thereof? That bugger should be tossed into a cell with a big guy named "Bubba" who "Thinks he's cute."

Legal action is unlikely - the attack was routed through a server in Croatia. Given the fact that no critical data was compromised, and that there was no measurable financial impact, we don't really see a need to pursue this in a court of law.
It was an immature and juvenile act, and the kid responsible will probably eventually grow out of it. If he doesn't, I think that the suffocating reality of being himself is punishment enough.

It's like in Red Dwarf:
"...he is only guilty of being Arnold J. Rimmer. That is his crime. It is also his punishment."

Good point. (Somehow I doubt he's actually IN Croatia... but that's another matter entirely.) You are right, but I'm kind of a "Smack me on the hand, and I bludgeon you with a sledgehammer" kinda guy. ;)
edit- I didn't even know croatia HAD servers... ah well.

While playing around on googlefight.com, I pitted "Sluggy.net" vs "Skript Kiddie". Take a look:

There's something funny going on at the moment... every time I type f-i-r-s-t p-o-s-t (without the dashes), the words are replaced with 'my underpants'
Is this just me, or is it an accross the board thing?
Curious,
kkj xx

It is an old and often disputed legend that the Sluggy Server is housed in a datacenter that was built on an ancient my underpants burial ground. This kind of thing inevitably leads to the kind of thing you're talking about, and it's probably best to not talk about it too loudly. We don't want to anger any Spirits still in possession of a sense of humor.

Augh - the horror, the horror!
Yeah, I was wondering about that fir-st po-st business too. Well, I don't see anybody's heads turning 360 degrees, nor anybody vomiting...dust...soup(?)... yet...
I blame Kahzmick and his legacy!
