Noticed today that certain obscenities are being unevenly censored. In particular, the board censors out F (as in fornication), C (as in cervix), but not S (as in stool). I thought I remembered a more uniform FCC-type swear censor. Not really offended, but I'm just pointing it out in case it means something's broken.

I think it's because the S (as in stool, but not for sitting but for... well... y'know) word is considered tame compared to the other two. Need I remind you of the episode of South Park where they said it unbleeped over 100 times. I think you can get away with saying it as many times you want in any PG-13 rated film. The only reason, I believe, that it's relatively taboo and unkosher to say it on these boards is because the rule is that any word used in the comic is fair game, and there has yet to be a character in Sluggy to drop the S-Bomb...

Which isn't really that big of a bomb, I'd say.
Unless you're speaking literally, in which case... ewww.

The standard is 'if Pete put it in the comic, it's allowed'.
