Since we might have had somethign like this in the old SRC Forums (long may they rest), I figured I would pick up the banner for a new recipe thread. Here's the rules:
Include Ingredients and Directions for cooking/baking/making.
Include some sort of reference/reverence to Sluggy in the title.
Anyone can submit, both sous-chefs and pseudo-chefs!

I'll start with a beverage I sold at a coffee bar I worked at:

Kiki's Ferret-Shok

1 1/2- 2 cups of quad shot espresso (already made and cooled)

2 cups of milk

4-6 goodly-sized scoops of ice cream (your choice, I use 1/2 chocolate and vanilla in seperate glasses very important later on)

sugar sprinkles- around about 2 tablespoons

2 of those little blue-coloured mints.

a squeezy thing Caramel syrup

1 Hershey's kiss

Directions
Blend 1 cup milk and 2-3 scoops of chocolate Ice cream until smooth- set that aside and do the same with the other 1 cup milk and 2-3 scoops of vanilla ice cream.

Pour quad shot into large clear (preferably) glass. Now pour the Chocolate and vanilla shakes (basically that's what they are) into the glass carefully so that they can resemble our favorite ferret. Sprinkle sprinkles liberally and apply caramel liberally throughout pouring. Place the 2 little mint thingies on top and squeeze more caramel around one of the eyes. Put hershey's kiss in the middle for a nose.

Consume.

Commence hyper-active ferret activities.

Who's next?

This not a specific Sluggy recipe, but I'm sure it could be named something Sluggy-ish. We call it fairy dust, and no, it doesn't contain illegal substances. I'm using Australian names for things because they're the ones I know.

Take equal parts powdered glucose (Glucodin), Wizz Fizz sherbet (keep the spoons), and Pop Rocks/Magic Gum (the stuff that crackles in your mouth) and combine in a bowl. You can also add powder Tang (powdered orange flavoured drink) for that orangey taste.

Stir in other lollies small enough to fit on a Wizz Fizz spoon (a bit smaller than a computer keyboard key). Tic tacs don't work - the mint flavour is too strong - Nerds are good, Jelly Tots, not smarties or chocolate (pure sugar here, folks), Pez etc etc. You don't want too many lollies, but some is good.

Put spoons around the edges of the bowl (lollypops are also good dippers) and pass around the party. Try to make sure no one keeps it for too long, and that people hang on to their own spoons.

Now I will have to kill you all, for you know my secret recipe.

Sounds like another Kiki themed recipe to me. Should have one up soon for some deep fried goodness.

Here's the Dialogue Search that was linked to on the old boards.

EDIT: And here's the comic you were looking for, CaffieneKitty.

Okay! Here it is! Be careful though... Gods know how it will turn out for you...

Deep Fried Bun-Bun

Ingredients needed:

2 large, boneless, skinless chicken breasts per serving

at least 4 cups all purpose flour

enough butter to make your arteries scream for mercy, melted

some deli sliced luncheon meats (ham, turkey, chicken, bologna, your pick) chopped up into bits.

To make:

bread ONE side one of the chicken breasts liberally, pile on the chopped luncheon meats in the middle, making a slightly large mound.
Place the other large chicken breast on top of the mound so that it somewhat covers the chicken breast also (I found that it helps if one chicken breast is larger than the other), so it resembles a chicken breast sammich (or Bun-bun's torso).
Crimp, pinch or staple three sides of the chicken breast sammich/B-BT together (staples are really not recommended for this, but hey, if'n ya need more iron in your diet....). Liberally apply flour to the chicken breast sammich/B-BT and carefully get the unpinched side of it to open and let that butter drizzle!
Drizzle, butter, drizzle!
Pinch/Crimp/staple the chicken breasts again, this time on the side you used to drizzle in.

Deep fry your Bun-Bun torso until the batter is golden brown. Remove from grease, let cool. After about 5 minutes, relish in the desire that you've just eaten Bun-bun!!!* Just be careful he doesn't burst out of your chest.**

*: Not really, just a poorly rendered facsimile of Bun-bun.
**note: if the thought of a deep-fried, halfway digested Bun-bun bursting out of your chest disgusts you.... you probably shouldn't have read this.

Eat and be merry!

I'm not much of a cook, so this is probably a dumb question, but...

Would removing the pecans in the Snowball Cookies recipe screw it up somehow? I'm not a big fan of nuts.

As requested...

Ok, I admit its got cranberries in it as well, but they're thanksgiving-y aren't they?

I assume you meant the stuffing, right?

Yes, it would. On the other hand, I normally hate pecans, but my family has been making these cookies for years (we just called 'em Pecan Balls. Real imaginative, huh?) and they're really tasty! Try the recipe as is, you might be pleasantly surprised.
