I wasn't expecting ominous overtones so early after the end of the last story. It's the holiday season after all! Of course in Sluggy thats usually the signal for alien robots to eat everyone brain, but still.
I get the feeling Alt-Gwynn would be disapointed in Gwynn-Prime.

It's been a while since I've posted, but I just want to say that I liked Zoe's Riff-esque overdramatics in panel 2.

I wonder, am I the only one who likes Gwynn? Even though she can be selfish and mean at times?

Hey, why can't Gwynn be nice to Torg, now that he has been off to save the whole alt-world?
Speaking of that, did he ever get paid? The alt-world should have given him billions of dollars for saving them! (Though they'd probably have some cutesy picture on them. Well, gold then.)
Chapter 5, paragraph 3 line 2 of the True Hero's Guide book:
"A true hero does not look for, nor ask for compinsation for their deeds of heroic dareing do."
And we all know Torg is a true hero.

Oh, don't worry, I like Gwynn too. I've always liked underdog characters.

Oh, comeon, there is no reason to be afraid of Gwynn's facsination with the book now. As it was said in this strip http://sluggy.com/daily.php?date=010401, they have nothing to do with k'z'k character anymore. So, she is flirting with other demons, so what? Riff was doing it all the time...
Zoe is great! I wonder if her mom has changed in any way...[not speccy, just wonder]. I wish we saw a bit more of the little sis, she must be an adult now...

Gywnn is learning "to be careful of what you wish for, it may come true".
I wonder if we're going to have a week of Gwynn's wishes coming true?
Not speccing, just wondering.

It's not K'Z'K I'm worried about. In Kesendaru's Well, we learned that the Book of E-Ville has a mind of it's own and, frankly, I'm not certain if "E-Ville" is just a city. And Riff's demon summoning was okay, since the book never granted him any powers and therefore had no sort of hold over him. (No speccing, just recap)
I suppose this comic could be funny, but I found it to be just plain scary. I always find plots with mind control scary.

Ive never liked Gwynn that much. she has a few moments of niceness btu they are far outwiehged by her selfish, backstabbing, and coniving ways. In my mind she's WORSE tahn Bun-Bun somehow. Bun-Bun knows what he is, his palce and is proud of it. Gwynn pretends liek she is there friend yet still acts liek a wench. Frankly, if we were EVER to see a main Sluggite character get killed off.. I wouldnt shed a tear for her.

The book? Oh no...no....please no.....NOT THE BOOK! What is the book anyways? (Please bear in mind that I am still a sluggite newb) Riff's--Jewishness? Hebrewosity?--is very, incredibly, exceptionally, truly, extremely, really, extraordinarily, emphatically, exceedingly, immensely old news.
EDIT: Because I'm a grammar Nazi.

Am I the only one who doesn't get it? I'd understand it a lot more if the E-ville sparkles hadn't been tossed in there.

Hmm, yes, I think that describes Gwynn. Whom I like a lot, and not just because we saw Perky when Torg smashed through a bathroom wall... oh damn, she's behind me isn't she... *is beaten to a pulp with a bathroom brush*
*whimper* I still like Gwynn... medic? *thud*

Well...
Stay good Gwynn!
When I first perused the strip, i thought that the book in her bag was just the flap closing her purse. Upon review, it does appear to be a book to me.
"Put the book down, and nobody will get hurt!"
