It works with everything...
even cardboard...

even cardboard... yeah, but only if you have TASTEBUDS OF STEEL which unfortunately I don't. The Axiom must not be mouth-melty!

For me, personally, the axiom is milk. But since I know that would make some people gag, and others can't digest lactose...
...an axiom for everyone else: salt?

I believe that the axiom is not one food item in particular, but a combination taking the form of pizza. Pizza can have any topping there is. It can be a dessert. Tastes great with with garlic butter crust. Can even have deep fat fried items placed on it. I t has to be one of the more perfect foods.

Folks, this is a great topic, but it's currently not all that Sluggy-related, so I moved it to GC. Feel free to continue it there, and -- if you're not used to the GC crowd -- make some new friends!

Cinnamon.
Add it to meat dishes for a mysterious, middle eastern flair. It gives rice dishes surprising depth. Add it to chocolate for a vision of paradise. My son sprinkles it on fresh apples and adds it to milk for cinnamon milk.

waffle has a point. I use cinnamon when I saute veggies (particularly squashes (zucchini)), too. BUT... swmartian wrote: ...an axiom for everyone else: salt? WOO-HOO! I FINALLY got some spec points!! I'm liking this Minion Master!

He's got a point. Salt goes with pretty much everything.

I disagree. I don't add salt to almost anything I eat. Yes I know that a whole lot of mostly everything contains salt. Surely the Axiom must be something that is added, not pre-contained.

See, here's the thing.
Without cinnamon (garlic, basil, oregano, pepper, cumin, thyme, rosemary, etc) your food may be a little bland but, hey, you'll live.
Without salt, you die.
Like dead. As in no pulse.
Salt isn't just a condiment. It's life.
Of course, too much of it and you die. I don't know if paprika has an LD-50.
