Hello everyone!
I have been reading Sluggy since 2008, when it was linked from userfriendly. Which means ... yes, I stayed because of "Torg Potter and the Giblets with Fiber", and was totally confused when "A Time for Hair-Raising" started. (Did I already disqualify myself by this?)
Anyway, I read through the archive and stayed, and very much enjoyed Sluggy ever after! It is so wonderful!
When "Immortal King" was revealed as new chapter title, my mind instantly jumped to Drakku, even though he has been mentioned only once or twice before. So I now figure, maybe my spec is worth something after all? Although I did miss the most obvious candidate ... ah well.

There is no unworthy spec, because the Mind of Pete is nigh impossible to predict and no one (with the possible exception of Pete himself ) knows where it will take us half the time. Welcome!

Thank you! Dodger77 wrote: must. not. demand. p-try. Ugh. Pardon, what do you want to say? Your words are without rhyme and reason to me. You shouldn't be so a-verse of telling what you deeply feel. This would be good measure for everyone, I guess. You know, if people aren't true to each other, it always ends the same.

Thanks for the spade, I really dig it!
Okay, let me try some rhymes, just to see which other tools I might get ;-)
Oh, dear Dodger, I'm so sorry, I can't help you with your worry. You'd like a poem, you just said? You won't find it in this thread.
For a poem worth of song, needs someone with native tongue. The only verses I deliver can't make you glad, but only shiver.
And if these lines to you seem swish, let me state their truest source are silliness---and, of course, Wiktionary Rhymes-dot-English.

Somehow I forgot to give you a gift for the poetry.
Soooo... I do happen to have this large eraser I could give you. It says it erases any of your memories you wish to forget.
Real easy to use. You just take the thing, think of the memory, and then vigorously rub your forehead, and then... um... I lost my train of thought for some reason. Hmm.
Oh, somehow I forgot to give you a gift for the poetry.
Ah! I do have this large eraser...

Ooh, thank you all :-)
(Though I *am* a little worried I might find a nice big club and a mind eraser useful around the boards ... well, let's see how it goes ;-) )
