I've been here since near the beginning. I had a webcomic a day calendar in 98 or 99. In that calendar was a now defunct comic called User Friendly. I work in tech and enjoyed that comic and started reading it daily. Sometime soon after that UF and Sluggy had a cross-over where AJ, the principle protagonist of UF, appeared in SF and Torg appeared in UF.

Nice to see you finally come out of your pod and join the forum, man69.
It may be a scary place you have entered, but don't be alarmed. Members are rarely dismembered anymore. Only a few maimings and pestering occurs now.
As for those pesky pestering Pesterers... They may ooze out of the digital woodwork to pester you for poetry. If you give them original poetry written by you, they may feel like giving you a "gift" in return. It might maim you or grant you zero riches. But the main thing, is that you are not required to give poetry to travel the halls of this forum. The Pesterers just like to pester. Nothing more, nothing less.
Anyway hope you enjoy your stay.
