According to today's news item, the next chapter is titled "The Immortal King" but who is the eponymous king? Since this is a specific topic, I figured I'd start a new thread for people to speculate and support their choices.
I'll start by throwing out a handful of potential names.
1) King Farahn (via the Book) - my initial gut-reaction thought, based on the Book popping up in recent dialogue with Gwynn
2) Sam - vampire (immortal) king?
3) Trevor(s) - starts to transform into a new "King Monster" after arriving in DoN
4) Bun-bun - because Bun-bun.

It's a good question. I've had inklings of thoughts but nothing has coalesced yet.
We are going to have to deal with Gwynn's demons, so it will be something related to that. I have a feeling that the Immortal King will be someone new involved in all of this.

Good question. Like you note with your list, there aren't many kings to choose from to begin with, let alone immortal ones. I'm leaning toward Fahran. Although the suggestion that it's an ambitious story makes me wonder if it won't be someone new.
In any case, I'll be quite surprised if we learn anything about this 'king' in the first subchapter. They - and we - have two+ years of DoN events to catch up with

Farahn is a great guess. Were we really in the Dimension of Anima for two(!!!) years...? Okay not quite, only 1.5 years.

He who controls time could be perceived to be an immortal king.
....but I don't want to blow up Riff's ego.

Fahrain is probably the most obvious but Pete doesnt do obvious.....
I'd propose The Immortal King is not Torg but is related to him. Pete has long been at pains to reveal not much about even Torg's family name so my guess is that it's now time to find out who Torg really is and why it's been so important to hide a fair bit about him.
