Is that Torgamous? Admittedly that's Niffty Torg in Torgamous' armour. Is that armour & shield from the same forge? Since Chaz II is red/charged does that mean it's always that way or is it later merged with the ritual blade to make Nifty Chaz? I'll try adding more links & thoughts later

It looks more like Torg's armor is modeled after this new one...
And who says it is Chaz 2? We are In the past after all....

Doubt it. Torgamus lived in the middle ages, which is the future from Mohkudun's perspective (since basically all of human history is in the future from Mohkadun's perspective). Also, this knight is officially arriving from the Never, which the comic already established during the Kesandru storyline to be no place for material beings of any sort. So this is probably some Rayth or a similar sentient spirit creature.
...maybe this is Chaz himself?

The helm shape is strongly reminiscent of Horribus.

So what's on his back?
First I thought it was a quiver of arrows, to provide for the frozen alt Torg talking weapons. But then I realised that the black knight's got a great rack of swords lined op behind him.
So is this like a thing he does regularly? Is the black knight a black smith clad in his own merchandise?

For some reason, i just can't get past how the Black Knight looks like an upgraded (perhaps 'the Never') version of Torgamus (or Nifty Torg wearing Torgamus' armor). Interesting enough, Torg wielded Chaz during that alternate timeline as well. Perhaps the Never is just another dimension/timeline where The End does occur. If all dimensions were part of the web of fate, K'Z'K could have been trapped in his very own dimension, freeing every other dimension from The End. However, given K'Z'K's nature, he would seek to break free from the place he was trapped, and end everything else as well. In the latest canon strip K'Z'K creates a time-space portal (where have we seen those before?) which he pulls the Black Knight and his sword from. We know that material beings don't belong in the Never, however we know that the Black Knight, a sword that looks just like Chaz, and K'Z'K all were in the Never at one point, and appear pretty material in the Nifty Dimension. Additionally, there's the mention of ripping the fabric of time-space (presumably, ripping the fabric of time-space will lead to the End). Ripping time-space was also seen here leading them all to be doomed (presumably, leading to the End). We're even hinted at the possibility of the End of the world might not necessarily having to be related to K'Z'K at all. On a completely different line of though, the Black Knight looks a lot like Satan

Lets talk a bit about the "Oh, crap" comment. The obvious explanation, that most people commenting seem to buy into, is that Kozoaku found a way to kill Kron without going up against Krohnus, thereby wasting his entire plot. But there are several other scenarios: - Symachus did not want Kozoaku to be freed, but to shift the power balance of the gods in the chaos, then reimprison Kozoaku, possibly emerging as the hero.
- Symachus wanted to betray Fahran as part of the plot. Probably because his real act is the point above, and does not include revenge on Kron. Now that the king got a god-killing weapon, the betrayal seems more dangerous.
- Symachus know something ominous about the sword or the character wielding it. It will provide a long-term problem for the gods that are worse than Kozoakus destruction of the current spark.

And he would be powerful enough that Kozoaku would want to summon him, having carved out Raiythdom on his own. Also, given how overpowered corporal beings are in the nether (super-dense), it is no surprise that a legendary being like Rithuly would be corporal.

Re: Torgamous' armor, I really don't see any resemblance. Re: Satan or Horribus, I think any similarities are really superficial -- a lot of folks in the Sluggiverse have had horns or horned helms. I haven't been able to identify anyone with anything similar to the three-tipped shield, except for the guy who was interrogating Murdoch on behalf of Admiral Jacobs in Timeless Space; even that, the resemblance isn't exactly a perfect match. Agree that Rithuly seems like a possibility. If you look at him on his throne in this comic, he does appear to have spikes along his brow, similar to the Black Knight that Kozoaku has just summoned...

So if he was originally a minion of Rithuly in the Never, when did he get made Lord of Hell?
