i not sure if someone has pointed this out yet, but the raft is called the bloody bun and has the pirate emblem on it.

"Blood Bun II" it looks like, if it does say "Bun". I have trouble making it out.

Occam's Razor possibility: Still, maybe the Bloody Bun was the name of something before Torg left? It could have very well been what Bun-bun named his ships in Battleship, betting Kiki for money probably, and Torg felt inspired to use it out of memorial. (Bun-bun had been missing by that point, right?) Any use Bun-bun pre-OU used it for may have been some gray residual memory. *shrugs*

Far out and very unlikely Oceans Ending style possibility: Someone from the Drowned Rabbits returns to the past to the Dimension of Lame instead or perhaps Bun-bun was originally from there in the distant past. At some point he got kicked out of there and the first exile by Santa was due to some plot of Bun-bun's to return home to the Dimension of Lame. His bloody rule of the DoL seas that may have so traumatized that world into being nice permanently is only remembered by the name of a little rubber raft.

Chronoligically, Bun-Bun's very first pirate ship was the one from Timeless Space. The rabbit must have named the raft at Nag's Head in honor of the real ship, and Torg named his in honor of that one.

More likely he had a vague memory of the name and liked it, given his memory problems brought on by his (self-inflicted?) concussion.
