I've still got a big Sluggy Character Count on my computer. It's not on the web and it doesn't have any information other than appearances, like Tirdun's used to have, but it's there.
But, during Oceans Unmoving I couldn't tell the characters apart, and there were too many situations where you didn't know who a character was or whether or not a character was important for a couple appearances. So, I stopped counting and decided I was going to go back and re-count Oceans Unmoving after it was over.
So...don't know when I'm going to get around to that, seeing as how it was super-long and there were like fifteen characters in every strip. But when I'm done I'll post the count here.

I find the History Channel to be interesting...
Oh, I mean I would like to see the old character lists again. I've wasted hours looking at that thing.

I really miss Tirdun's old stats site. Oftentimes the character notes were as funny as the comic itself, and it was great watching different characters fight it out for the top spots. Numbers alone would be neat but if someone wanted to combine it into a full webpage with all the bells and whistles like Tirdun's used to be that would be neat. Sadly I have neither the time nor the skill to do this or I would offer.

Yes you are correct.
It looks like 2003-11-06 08:42:23 was the last time Tirdun graced us with his astonishing stat-tracking ability and humor. We ought to officially invoke November 6th as a Sluggite day of mourning.
