Don't knock the Dark Side until you have tried it. Light is best on sitting on a situation and trying to hold the status quo. Dark goes out and gets things done however possible. In timeless space, anyone to try the lightside way will timefreeze or be hacked to bits long before they make one ounce of progress.

Calix is a hero... if mainly in the Greek sense. Of course, so is his enemy.
Both are trying to save a dying universe and aren't afraid to step on each other's feet to get there.

The thing about greek heros is that they don't have to do good things just things worth remembering, that is why they have so many of them, they are all have deep problems.

as for the Dark Side, Most rebellions end up with the new government as bad or worst taking over so it is quite a posable Calix and Kada may end up ten years from now with there own rebellion on there hands.
