How will Torg escape this?

I can think of three possibilities:

- Saik, unfamiliar with the evil-app, accidentally triggered the thermobaric bomb instead of the Torg-killer. NoFun blows up, our heroes barely escape by closing the emergency door. (Pang and the squid-spear also escape)
- The acid-thingy is depleted. The needle sticks in Torg's back, but there's no acid to make any difference.
- Torg has carefully slid his indestructable sword under the acid-thingy. The acid runs down the blade and drips onto the ground.

Definitely. That "Emergency Lockdown" button in panel 4 is just too prominent to not be important.

Too late, came to the forum to spec on accidental activation of the thermobaric bomb.
Guess I can't get points for that now.

But I got one more possible save:
Couldn't Theresa have nicked the needle, just like she found and removed the ultra-hidden tracer on the case in a split second earlier?
