I have a small collection that I put on the door of my office - must be self contained and funny. I'm far too lazy to search for the URL (I've chucked in some dialogue to make it easier), but the ones I have are

invention of the "chick magnet" (Riff)
going throught the presents ("calendar" - Torg) after the pyramid
Riff's smoke machine for Halloween ("I'm thinking Alec Baldwin" - Torg)
"Chloroform" candle (one of my all-time favourites - Riff)
Sasha setting up Torg and Zoe ("that would be awesome" Torg)
Christmas with hot sauce ("Habenaro" - Riff)
The first "dude, shoelaces" (Torg) sequence
Kiki in Easter ferret shock ("Never leave a ferret" - Bun Bun)
Halloween candy & Kiki ("Pixy-Sticks and candy" - Torg)
"Party favors" - Riff
"Swedish Light Saber" - Torg

Have fun, and if you find any more, let me know! (I'm starting to run out of material for my door).

Can somebody find the first comic in which Bert appears, has a speaking role, but does NOT say "crotch" or derivations thereof?

Hey Mewtarthio, how long did it take you to make that list?
Anyway, which strip is the one where Bun-bun attacks KiKi with a battleaxe? I can picture it in my head, but can't find the cursed strip!

http://www.sluggy.com/daily.php?date=010419 He calls it a pickaxe, but it's not.

I have a few more to add to the great starters:

Those are the fast food strips... I don't think they were posted. They were just before the pyramid story.

Another relatively self-contained comic

Riki-Kiki-Taco vs the vacuum cleaner

Note this predates Vroomba.

Hate to be a bother, but does anyone remember the strip where Zoe is dreaming of her and Torg all dressed up and out at some formal occasion or another.

Thanks in advance.

That one was actually a fan submission, but the art style and feel are very Sluggy. A favorite of mine.

I think that one got cut from the archive. It was somewhere during Kitten II; Pete made up for it later by posting two comics (this one and this one) on the same day. Later, the KISS comic got cut, and those two assigned to different days, to restore the proper sequence (big color strips on Sundays) in the archive.

[shameless plug]That filler's still in the Defenders archive, thouygh.[/shameless plug]

[Erased rant about paypal.]

This is half spec, half strip-finder request. In the last filler week during XMas, Pete half-answered, half-ignored Lady Blanc's spec regarding Gwynn, Sasha, and girlfriend number 2.

Lady Blanc mentioned Sasha appeared with a shirt labelled 3. It's the cool strip from DDA (one of my favorites, BTW). And she spec-ed about Gwynn being number 1. But I distinctly recall seeing Gwynn with a t-shirt labelled 1. I can't even remember if it was before or after DDA. I haven't found it anywhere after DDA, yet if it's prior to DDA it must be a long way beforehand... probably even before the Bug, the Witch and the Robot. And dialogue search is no good coz I don't remember the context.

So, please help support a good spec...!

It was during Love Potion. By this time, BWR had almost definitely been plotted out already, as this is just before K'Z'K took over Gwynn.
