I thought Torg was with Gwynn. Anyway.
I’d like to claim more internet points for this one, but I simply recognized that look Zoe had.
She’s gone full suburban mom.

Based off the tight money, huge bag of offbrand kibbles, and a literal ZOO of creatures to feed... Zoe is going to have a suburban mom breakdown soon.
She'll start yelling at everyone for being wasteful, having to clean up after them all, and go off about the cost of things...and so on.
Eventually she'll break down into tears and realize that she's become her mother.
Whether she'll rekindle that relationship or not, who could say. But let's see if suburban mom prediction 2nd Ed. also comes true.

Is anyone else wondering if the reason the hag is missing from the Book of Uhlee is because Gwynn took her out and used her in the magic funnel to get her secrets from her? I am thinking she isn't alive anymore, and Gwynn isn't keeping her in any glass cage. Obviously, she took the flour, eggs, and fire extinguisher. I wonder what they were for? And what else she took. At first, I wondered if she needed the flower to make her own funnel somewhere, on the go. But not sure what all the other stuff would be for.

I'd say at least half of us are thinking she burned the hag. This does make me wonder why Gwynn is claiming to have taken her on the trip, since I don't think she'd just straight-up lie. Maybe Gwynn has her ashes in the jar...?

Although Gwynn has lied in the past, of course, we usually get a hint of it via an expression or something relevant in the panel... Here the only hints we get are the things she took from the house. This might be a big spec, but perhaps she is making a country -wide funnel that she wants to use to net something that can help her free Torg. Flour is very flammable, and she'd need the for extinguisher just in case. Not sure about the eggs though

I think Bun Bun is worried about the flour because he hid wads of cash in them. Since they "rarely bake" they would never accidentally find it.

I was thinking this too, but he also seems really concerned about where the bags are. I am thinking that if there was actual cash in the flour bags, Aylee or Kiki would have noticed. Must be something more subtle. Maybe he wrote something on the bags? Or maybe something hidden in some little pocket/fold at the bottom?

I just had a thought. It may be that Gwynn does NOT have the flour with her. Sure, at the beginning of this current strip, it showed two bags of flour, and also an empty glass jar/cage. It was assumed that these are items that Gwynn has with her, because she is also pictured packing her car up. And then a few strips later, the flour seems to be missing, as well as eggs and a fire extinguisher (or at least, Aylee doesn't know where to find it). It might be that BunBun was using the flour to hide something, and so he moved where the bags of flour were hidden. Who knows if he is using the rest of the stuff. And the empty glass jar/cage could be referencing the fact that Ozzid was removed to put into Torg. Maybe not, but it's a thought. Of course, if the flour that Kiki and Aylee is using is NEWLY bought flour, it could be that whatever BunBun is hiding is in the flour that Gwynn DID take then, and he doesn't know that they are using new flour. And so maybe Gwynn will discover it. Or already has. Or maybe she knew that BunBun had hidden something in there and she wanted/needed it. Hmmmm....lots of food for thought. Snacks.

Aside from it not being PG13, however, Kiki is not having any sort of reaction, despite breathing it in (and coughing it up). Bun-Bun might not yet realize that those were new bags of flour, but he didn't seem to care that she was completely coated in the flour. So the bags themselves do seem to be the key...
