Just got to thinking about timeless space. Does it get destroyed and reset when a spark ends and a new spark is created? I ask, because Kada and the Teknokons etc. seem to all come from earth's future (or at least the technology seems more advanced than what we have in the current timeline). If timeless space gets reset with a new spark, then does that mean the current 7th Spark that the main cast are from will continue well into the future to where Kada came from?

This new chapter looks interesting. The character seems new. His hat has an F on it. The title is monstrous. Here is a wild and silly spec - very unlikely. Imagine the character is Farahn and the voices are Dunuloa and this will be a side story about Dunuloa's torture of Farahn on the moon.
I hope not.

Given that Timeless Space wasn't affected at all in the last spark's almost-end, I'm guessing it's not part of the cycle. The way I read the mythology, it's all very earth-centric anyway.

Any bets for the next chapter? As Pete moves to start wrapping things up I think we're going to either be examining Sin'thia La'mort and her progeny and/or focusing on Sasha. I'm betting on the latter, which will circle slowly around to the former. Tempest seemed to be a well-meaning buffoon at one point, but by the time (heh) he takes on the moniker of Uncle Time, when he meets Bun Bun #2, he seems to be quite unhinged and quite resentful of his "brother" (and Crazy Carver). Interesting side-point, when Tempest is first banished to Timeless Space he asks if he can leave for visits and is told resoundingly, NO. And yet, he DOES leave Timeless Space to return Bun Bun #1 to normal time in the "magic pet store", into Torg's hands. He once again implies he's not-all-there because it's "things like this" (returning Bun Bun to real time) that "keeps him sane." I wonder how that little loophole happened? I guess we're on the next chapter so spec is moot for the moment. Perhaps we're on to the Emissary Ebon flashback, given the Fae-inspired artwork (gorgeous). As with all of these stories I'm delighted when I'm completely wrong.

oooh yeah this arc might be about the Fey court, and possibly Drakku.

I hope this story is about Basphomy. Probably not though. ChrisPCrunch wrote: Just got to thinking about timeless space. Does it get destroyed and reset when a spark ends and a new spark is created? If timeless space gets reset with a new spark, then does that mean the current 7th Spark that the main cast are from will continue well into the future to where Kada came from? Timeless Space was pretty much created at the end of Mohkadun, so there's not really anyway of knowing what happens to it at the end of a spark, because it's only existed during the current spark.

I thought it was only expanded at the end of Mohkadun.

I guess, technically, but the Timeless Space as we know it, i.e. the oceans unmoving, and the layer around the world was created at the end of Mohkadun.

Now I'm thinking that the prelude strip on 11/13 wasn't a distant "origin of X" prelude, but just a "within the past few months" prelude.
It seems that at least two kids have gone missing (dark hair/backpack on 11/13 and then Olivia in today's strip). My spec is that this is something to do with the Fae and Emissary Ebon.
Alternate spec is that it's Boofy but she was pretty fixated on the Strawman.

Same, Thom. It seems a bit more current now -- but to me it feels vampire-related (which, frankly, could still relate to Symachus).

Consider my world appropriately rocked.
I wonder if Sam will prove too dumb to succumb. This could be Drakku's undoing.
