It sounds a lot like an English idiom in Latin words. That's because I'm translating the way you do translations, because I am a translator. If he says "after so much time," that would be "after all this time" in English. kromiller wrote: I totally called multiple things! I knew it was going to be Siphy II! And I figured her and Ozzid would recognize each other and reconnect at some point! Congratulations!

On the other hand, the creepy sheep-demon thing was still speaking Latin when Edda performed her self-surgery. So many things I'd like to know -- because Knowing Is Half The Battle. SI-PHY-TWOOOOO

We saw him partially pop out in the previous page; so it's the former. partially ≠ fully

We saw him partially pop out in the previous page; so it's the former. It might be because Torg is REALLY tired and is pretty weak as a result. This is probably a moot point with the current cases. There's been no attempt to dominate or resist the other side. That's why he popped out so casually today. I don't think Ozzid ever really tries to escape. He just lets them do whatever with the possession. I also don't think Torg or Kiki ever really tried to prevent him from popping out, either. Why would they? I doubt they ever would, either. That's how you lose friends.

If he says "after so much time," that would be "after all this time" in English. Okay, you weren't exaggerating when you said you don't know Latin. Ozzid says neither "so" nor "much". Based only on loanwords used in present-day English and Swedish, it's easy to see how the English phrase is mapped word by word to Latin words: "after" → "post" ("posthumous", "post-mortem", "postscript", "postmodernism" ...) "all" → "totum" ("total") "this" → "hoc" ("ad hoc" = "for this particular purpose") "time" → "tempus" ("tempo", "temporary" ...) In Swedish, the phrase "efter all denna tid" would occur only in a bad translation from English. I expect that "post totum hoc tempus" is equally awkward in Latin.

SI-PHY-TWOOOOO I was gonna say he's a demon and speaking with tongues might come with the territory, but I can't explain about the other demon. Still Ozzid was around in the time of the Bug Squishers War. I guess they were all speaking English then because Zoe and Torg could communicate
