Lol. I guess the book captures Tabby's true nature.

I guess this is manslaughter.
Also, Tabby is unfair. Kiki actually warned them without blowing up their cover. How does any of what Kiki did constitute betrayal?

Technically she did tell Gwynn about Tabby in the first place and probably kind of obvious in context, so maybe not completely unfair, but Tabby is a demon so I doubt fairness factors in.

Ouch, Tabby's picture is monstrous. He must have killed countless people.

Tabby threatened our Kiki!! Take him to the demon eating chair, Gwynn, and destroy him utterly for all eternity!

HOLY CRAP!!!
I kind of started getting the impression that Tabby new what he was doing and wasn't as nice as he seemed, but...to quote Gwynn, GOOD LORD! Tabby is scarier than Poopy Pants. I think his demon would MAKE people poop their pants.

His charisma was so high that he was able to convince Kiki to turn on his friends/family and sing his praise in a single afternoon! Terrifying, indeed. He should have been a two-pager. Nobody let him out. Ever.

Eww. I just noticed that the camper's body collapsed onto Gwynn's shoulder after Tabby was pulled out. What a touch, Pete! LOL
I wonder why a demon as powerful as Tabby wasn't actually at the Damboree. With such an elaborate border, I would have thought he'd be one of the VIPs. I guess the 'demon attraction' that sucked in lesser demons like Ozzid wasn't powerful enough to suck Tabby in? Or were he and Harry too far away? I'm guessing it was more of the latter, since they did eventually show up at the site. Hmmm.

Tabby looks well and truly terrifying, nice.
Also, is Gwynn intentionally casting something other than the usual "zomby" there? I don't recognize that spell.

Yes, if you got back to the Damboree when Gwynn was imprisoning all of the demons, you can see her using both types of spells. https://archives.sluggy.com/book.php?ch ... 2023-07-21
