I like how Torg thinks. Heh.

Demon playdate was a good priority, in principle... it's just his execution that's off.

Kiki's recent execution, on the other hand, was impeccable.

She did begin to say it: "It means she might be in trouble and..."

Which sounds quite forced. Either Pete couldn't think of a good thing for her to say to set up Torg's line, or she was unconsciously thinking of the same thing as Torg already.
