It's too bad they can't just track down the missing pages using magic like they did previously. Otherwise what are the odds of somebody just stumbling on one of them randomly near the ritual site?

I know whenever I drop a piece of paper outside in a public space, I can just go back and find it a year later. Never had a problem doing that so far.
