It took me until this page to realize that Zoe, Gwynn, and Torg were not setting up an elaborate ruse for Olebelle to escape. It was just Pete foreshadowing...

More like which part isn't Torg's fault. The play date, being outside, breaking the runes, unleashing the Trevors.
Also: this time the Trevors were justified. That's what I would do to Torg if he shoved my face into a Kiki 'augmented' rag.

Looking back at that link, the Tevors first attacked soon after Basphomy was tormenting everyone with their worst fears. When I first read it, I didn't consider the Trevors having a fear shown them but now I'm wondering if they did and that made them hate Torg. Torg fears losing Zoe and maybe especially to some danger he puts her in. The Trevors, originated from Torg, love Zoe as deeply. Maybe Torg's fear is theirs and they attack Torg in an attempt to keep Zoe safe.

It doesn't look like the Trevors got hit with B's fear beam. Also, in this strip before Basphomy shows up, the Trevors already appear to be eyeing him suspiciously.
