Friday Thinks Thurs is an idiot. We currently have a very easy way to remember where you last left off in a book. No special device is needed. If you're turning pages, you already have the "device" you need. You read both side of the paper, and then you rip it out of the book. Every time you come back to continue reading the book, you are exactly where you left off. And as a bonus, you can use those pages as kindling to read at night. Why do so many people not know how to correctly read a book? ---- Vote for Sluggy Freelance at Top Web Comics. Remember to vote for (web)comic burnings.

This doesn't meet your criteria for marking a book without damaging it. Plus, ripping pages out and setting it on fire is pretty hard to do to the book of eville.

That's why Thurs is an idiot. Thinking you are supposed to read a book with out damaging it. Insane. The "Book of Eville" is not actually a book, even though it wants you to think it is. It's actually classified as a magical tome. So you must read it differently.

'I guess Bun Bun is as old as history goes back.' 'Yea. Unless he somehow is older than history itself.'

Now I wanna know who "the other guy" is. I assumed Olebelle when Gwynn said two demons, but I kind of doubt it based on the description.

I wanna know the rules for Kettelers of Satan!
Fun fact, did you know electric kettles in the UK, at 240V, boil the water twice as fast as kettles in the US that use 120V?

That's exactly what I came here to say. I could have sworn they had conversations about Bun Bun's origin back during the Mokhadun arc. Heck, they had Siphaniana right there, and Gwynn could corroborate later from her own experience. Biscuit wrote: I wanna know the rules for Kettelers of Satan! I'm not sure, but the winner gets to serve high tea in Hell. And wow, that's a throwback. Also, whose idea was it to put demons (not just Ozzid) in an outdoor spell circle drawn on dirt? Surely there must be something else going on here.

I think you are overthinking Gwynn's comment.
She is specifically talking about Bun-Bun many run-ins with Basphomy, something she only learned about recently.
Heck, she didn't even knew Basphomy was someone/something that existed until shortly before the Demon Jamboree.

Yes, but Zoe leads with question that seems to indicate she had no idea Bun Bun had been around for so long.

Looking at the magic circle and the warnings about not disturbing it I'm now wondering how much of an offset it has internally. Six inches between the edge of the runes and where a demon can go? Less? What happens if they kick up dirt?
Not speculation, it just made me curious about magic engineering and product design.

Based on Torg's questioning of Bun-Bun earlier, it seems like he at least never really believed Bun-Bun was a Mohkahdun god and perhaps Zoe never did either. Gwynn should be a different story though because she was THERE.

Perhaps -- but Torg's nonchalance is historically misleading. I wouldn't be surprised if he still think Bun Bun is the bunny god. And between Siphiphippi and Gwynn, the whole gang should have been able to discuss this quite a bit already.
Anyway... I suppose we'll find out some year.
