At this point, I'm not sure what round it is with this fight.

Is this a fight anymore? Is this going to be a chase? Are there going to be explosives? Is Bun-Bun bored yet? Is Gwynn getting molested by a tree?

Indeed, the word "book" comes from that the Vikings in England used to carve runes into the bark on beech trees, and beech trees are called "bok" in Scandinavian languages.

Similarly, the French "livre" and Spanish "libro" and so on come from the Latin "librum," which means "the inner bark of trees". I guess they used to take the soft bark inside the outer bark and use it for writing on.

Remembering is good, I think. But how do the eggs come out of her hand? Also Gwynn was told that if farahn and the bug escape the egg "puts them back". Except there is no back to put them in. So many questions.

Anyone know where that pitchfork came from? The little demon was holding it but we never saw it do anything, right? Not much is in the way of G'naaw getting some toe-snacks!

That egg came from Dunuloa. I suspect she could put the Book back together ...

One of the pages that came out of the book should be the original scroll that Farahn and the bug were imprisoned in. If the spell egg is used now, it will presumably put them back into that page. Or it might be flexible and imprison them in whatever object Gwynn chooses.

Another page should be the page of binding. That one could be used to put the book back together, but that's not necessarily desirable. The bug was better imprisoned before Alligia gave him access to more magic by binding powerful spells into the book.

But who and what is that tree-man thing, and why does its touch make Gwynn remember her conversation with Basphomy?

I’d wager it’s more of a timing thing, rather than the tree demon.

Kinda feels like an all is lost, time to attempt a deus egg machina moment.

The comic from the 30th shows Torg stealing it from the short demon guarding Torg who was holding it. Torg punted him in the reared and snagged it from him.
