I guess Gwynn will just have to take up bug squishing. Oh, wait, Farahn did that too and it didn't help. Hmm.
What if the gang performs their own ritual to free Gwynn? I wonder if she can be freed separately. That would probably be too easy of an ending.

Except that when the sublime Lord Poopy-Pants gains his inevitable freedom he ends this Spark. No one will be around to do any summoning of the insignificant dust mote that attempted to prevent His crowning glory. Get on Team Poopy-Pants now! T-shirts being designed. I like the way Pete displayed Gwynn's horror at the realization of what eternal life would be like. Fortunately I think the Book, and everything in it, ends with this Spark as well, so not long now.

I think Pete is illustrating her as "becoming the book." Not only did her crown turn into paper straws &etc, look at her dress. Her décolletage / neckline looks like torn paper. And her "shoulder pads" are books ...

Yeah, she's been phasing in & out of that look. When she feels strong and comfortable, she looks like herself. When she feels Farahn or the Bug are taking over and controlling her, she starts to look like the black-eyed "prisoner of the book."
