It felt like we just had a Wednesday last week. Weird... Anyway. Now I bet we'll get to see how Aylee escaped the circle, killed Riff and Sharon, got to the ritual and stopped Torg from not ending the World. It'll be glorious. Wait... Why do I have a strange feeling or premonition that is not going to happen? Odd. But it has to happen, or Lord Poopy can't destroy the world... ---------- Vote for Sluggy Freelance at Top Web Comics. For a second there, I thought Riff was going to say he'd give anything for Aylee to die. I'm glad his views on Aylee have evolved.

The good thing is that evolution isn't an on-off switch. There's lots of grey in the middle for....whatever this is.

So, it is my understanding that not all MII magic funnel have their circle made of demon-trapping runs, but can be versatile for all kind of different intended effect, depending of what runes is used for circle, and Cynthia's one on her roof is specifically done to capture and channel demon?

Well played, Riff!
It's so nice to see him succeed without someone complaining about it

A clear difference between Riff and Torg for sure. Well played indeed, Riff. Silverwalker wrote: It's so nice to see him succeed without someone complaining about it Agreed, and to not have his approach questioned and countered.

And success without explosives -- that might be a first for Riff! Still, as Zillatain notes, the victory of Lord Poopy-Pants over this spark is inevitable and cannot be stopped.

I just realised that this flashback actually answer an important question: How did Frog get the time to procure himself a second pie. Turns out there was a lot more time between Laycee calling shotgun and the gangactually hitting the road.

I love how Riff manages a solo version of Good Cop, Bad Cop by invoking Torg's matire tp protect his friends at all costs and following that up by pointing out his own nature to avenge his friends at all costs. Then he pulls a Worse Cop by threatening to bring in Bun-bun.

Sounds like this particular setup is a test run for the demonic "sacrifice" at the damnboree -- though I still want to know how it all works here in the shop.
