This is what I love about Sluggy. Pathos, plot, drama, humor, and support for each other. Quote: Thursday has been wonderful. Thanks for asking. I'm glad to hear Thursday is doing well!

Who was the ink-lady again? It's familiar but I don't want to dig through the archives.

So, Chaz is an unreliable narrator, who would have thought?
also, Edda was kind of special, wasn't she?
Meanwhile, Torg is starting to have enough of this poop.

Today's comic is apparently dedicated to reaction forums, based off those refs.

Also, Chaz is now actively trying to kill Torg, rather than just constantly bitching about being misused. That's not good. So, for the record, has Torg ever apologized for using Chaz as a prying bar, cheese slicer and griller, etc? Chaz has feelings. Anything further than that would be speccy spec spec though!

Hey, didn't Chaz get bent recently? Did I miss the part where they straightened him out again? How would they have done that? EDIT: Here's where he got bent, January 15, 2021, so I use the word "recently" loosely. :P https://archives.sluggy.com/book.php?ch ... 2021-01-15EDIT2: Ah, wait... now that I look again, I guess he automagically unbent when he got reactivated? Before.After.I guess I was just inattentive. :P

Guess I can talk it out here, now that I have been proven wrong.

So now Chaz admits that what it said earlier wasn't the complete list of ways to become its master. It did however say "You will not be my Master unless [...]". Either that was a lie, in which case Pelrun is right that Chaz tried to get Torg killed, or else there is a significant difference between picking Chaz up like Oasis did and robbing a paralyzed master as Stitches suggested. By the way, Pete, it says "3" twice in the reference box instead of "3" and "4". Spirantz wrote: So, for the record, has Torg ever apologized for using Chaz as a prying bar, cheese slicer and griller, etc? He did say "sorry" at least once at an early stage, and there was this time – but more recently he's done completely unnecessary things that he knew Chaz wouldn't like, and showed no remorse over it. GUIGUI wrote: why this powerful magic sword not even Father Time could destroy suddenly could be subjected to metal fatigue and bending. Now that it looks like Chaz wants Torg dead – could it be that it bent by choice to make Torg fall?

I mean, it's always been a moody sword powered by the blood of the innocent to kill... whoever? Chaz has never seemed picky on that note.
I think Chaz ever seeming like an ally has mostly been a factor of Chaz being... a sword with no agency beyond whatever Torg wants to do.
