"Flying thing cliffhanger"
So that wasn't just Trevors in the distance?

Oh I see, the same thing appeared on the animated panel and Trevors was there too.

If she is who we all think she is, then the saddest part is that actually getting eaten by a wolf would have been the better ending.

Dangit, I'm too slow. Yeah, a lot of people think that old-timey words are just interchangeable, but they have actual meanings and grammar, just like now.

Another one that a lot of people miss is that "ye" is plural.

Except in like "Ye Olde Book Shoppe". where the Y stood in for TH and was pronounced as such.

Hey there, little Red Riding Hood
You sure are lookin' good
You're everything a big bad wolf could want
Listen to me, little Red Ridin' Hood
I don't think little big girls should
Go walkin' in these spooky old woods alone

That's what you get for playing HamsterNom over a thousand years before the phone app was invented.

I doubt my Olde Time-e Englishe will be any more accurate than my Latin or Etruscan but I can sure fix a thing or too. I assume the first person "hast" is just regular old "have"? Fixing! There are no 'hasts' in the next strip but Fridays' strip will have one!

But you forget, that this is the Sluggy Universe, not our universe. So how do we know they didn't speak like that?

You're "correcting" Pete, when he may have been right all along...
