"what jar of pickles shall I pry open for you today?" Classic Chaz! But his other comments to Torg are a lot more supportive than I'd expected!

Looks like this incident straightened out Chaz. One problem solved.

Some of the page text is readable, though I'm not sure it says anything too significant.
Chaz seems weirdly supportive and not nearly as angry as I expected.
And Gwynn being cut off, that's good right?

Right? I expected him to be all bent out of shape. Kesandru wrote: And Gwynn being cut off, that's good right?
Oh goodness, no...not like that.

I was hoping that chaz being bended and needing his own power to straighten up would mean he would be depowered enough to only be able to damage ethereal beings, leaving a chance of survival to the woman, as she is made of flesh, but alas, she is gone. I don't think she deserved this fate.

Just noticing that while Farhan cut her off, Gwynn still has her diamond eyes.

Yay! Chaz is better. I was worried there.

I just assumed I was old..... LOL I guess the question now is whether the cutoff is a two-way street? Is Farahn no longer able to suck her into either The Book or one of her own? And speaking of bad eyesight... I guess the other question is does being cut off mean that she's back to being near blind? Or does she get to keep her new eyesight? I guess all in good time.....

All things considered, she got off pretty easy if he just cut her off. He did much worse to Siphy 2, but then maybe he was afraid of being undone by Chaz.

It's hard to tell if Gwynn still has diamond eyes. But I always thought the spell to fix her eyes, was more like a magical surgery. Go in, physically alter her eyes, and leave.
Depends on how Pete decided to do things. We'll just have to wait and...see.

She had her eyesight fixed in https://archives.sluggy.com/book.php?ch ... 2015-01-23"Now with no scars and about 2 inches taller" - which makes it sound like body modification, not a constant spell. I tried to find height comparisons in a few other comics, but I'm not dedicated enough to spend more than a minute or so - but that would be a quick way to tell: was she shorter than Zoe before they met Captain Botanical or not? Another thought: If Gwynn is cut off from the book, is Zoe still protected from being possessed? I would think that would be less permanent than height/eyesight/scars?
