Killing her father or using the Scroll of Binding...

Well, Monday is all for murder, but we will see.

All of her father's dying requests ignored, except maybe not listening to the book. Can't say I'm surprised.

Hunting down cultists in ancient Greece. That's just epic. Is she becoming the Oasis of the classical antiquity?

Then I know it's roughly 460 BC but this is the year where mainland Greece went to war (against each other, the first Peloponnesian war). A perfect cover-up for causing a lot of death and destruction...

Ozzid "...is bound to our bloodline for all time and is a source of power..." ???

Um, who are Gwynn's parents?

Although, anyone alive in 460 BC who lived long enough to procreate, probably has tens of millions of descendants; it was 60 generations ago, give or take.

I know is part of the joke but in the ancient world a book was called a codex in Latin. But were first made around the first century a.d. Interestingly the other Latin word for book is liber. Which mean "the inner bark of a tree," while the original meaning of codex is "A tree trunk, stump."

Quint's associate stated earlier that making use of magic as one of the potential is part of the web's plan, at least a s such Uncle time set it up. Also, it's worth noting that elder Soco hadn't figured it all, about Magic.

The codices were the first books in the sense that they were bound by stacking the pages (according to wikipedia). But Allie probably uses another binding method... ;-)
But in Greece of that time you have the word biblos for collections of parchments, which is translated best by "book".

Is it just me or it sounds as though "Allie Bookbinder" is either a pun or some sort of reference?

That assumes the bloodline isn't going to get abruptly cut off, given Allie's reckless behavior and the fact that we've already seen how her story ends.

Uhh let's not forget that Riff is a direct descendant of Symachus, despite that bloodline being thousands of years older than our bookbinder here. So if that works, then tracing her bloodline should work too

In all fairness, maybe she's just using Ozzid's power to kick some cultist ass.

...I mean, it's a POSSIBILITY.

...

Hunting cultists in Greece during the Peloponnesian wars? Sounds Assassin's Creed inspired.
