Haven't posted in a while but I just want to say that I love how Pete is weaving the story into real history and ancient myths. Excellent job, Pete!!

By the way, Tarchuna can't be the sinkhole ruins we have seen during the pagemummy battle. This town wasn't named but it was stated that it is close to the Vesuv. Tarchuna is several hundred kilometers from the Vesuv. It is about the time when the Romans about forty miles away kicked out their Etrurian king, starting their rise to become a superpower .
Just for historical context .... not sure if it matters, because that would be speculation.

randomlanguage is right! Quote: Uh oh! Nothing human talks about "foolish humans" This was a mistake on my part. In my head Quint was suggesting fools aren't problems to him no matter what thing they are. I'll retcon the dialogue to "The foolish trouble me not, be they man nor demon."

Not sure that it should be "nor" - but the more important issue is the "a demons" in the following sentence. Should it be "a demon" or "demons" (without the "a")? Or "a foolish demon"? Don't you just love annoying transcribers.......
