The war does not seem to be going well, what with the higher ranking troops obviously dying somewhere, also killing their minions here with Sampire.

Torg was a King once (where Valerie wasn't a vampire yet). Tell Sam how to build more miners to buy more dragons. But on a more serious note Torg is a master tactician and has won several serious conflicts.
Note sure what's going on with the garlic necklace. Its on, its off, its on. Why ever take it off?

The real crime here is that Urja evidently keeps sending these people to attend to Sam without letting them know how stupid he is.
You'd think he'd have, like, a squad of elite vampires who are actually loyal to Urja and aware of his true nature or something.

It's hard to prepare someone for how stupid Sam is. I've been reading this comic for almost 20 years now and I don't even feel prepared for it. :P

I feel kind of comforted by Sam's consistent stupidity.

I know that having an idiot for a ruler seems to be popular, but people who literally die when somebody acts stupid should perhaps choose a smarter person to rule them.
