Monday is wondering how this week will pan out. Last week did not go as expected. But to kick it off, we may get to find out what nefarious things Aylee has been up to. ---- Vote for Sluggy Freelance at Top Web Comics. Remember to vote every day.

Ohh. Torg? For leaving her behind and only caring about Zoe? Torg was her home for all this time.

Looks like she might be carrying a torch for Gwynn, though.

It's nice to see her smile, though.

That's a forced smile. She's not happy to see Gwynn, she's trying not to displace her anger-or-whatever it is. Doesn't want to take it out on the wrong person.
Or maybe it's relief. Remember that she and Gwynn lived together for a while, maybe Aylee needs someone to open up to.
Not to get too far into spec, but: I'm not sure this is all about romantic jealousy either. She's not like Sam, she was a core member of the team until she got shoved aside. For years. Moreover she doesn't have any place on earth, she has no role in society here, other than being a part of this team. I'm sure the romantic aspect is a part of it, but only a part.

Well, I WILL give Gwynn points for somehow identifying Aylee.
Bunbun must be so bored. SO BORED! A year with a depressed humanoid alien, and nothing interesting going on at all. He's so bored that he actually agreed to go to a PIZZA JOINT with nerdboy! That's really saying something right there. I don't even see alcohol!

I don't think it' forced. it's the smile of seeing an old friend back again.

I think she still has a sort of slightly alien mouth.

I dunno... that smile in the last panel looks pretty sinister to me. It's also rather curious that Aylee was apparently waiting outside, watching them the whole time. I guess we'll have to wait and see what that's all about.

I guess we'll have to wait and see what that's all about. Seems more like softening of a hate-fueled glare (panel 3) to a soft, genuine smile to me (last panel). Also, is anyone else getting a Knives Chau vibe from panel 3?

Guys. Gwynn didn't ID Aylee, Aylee called out to Gwynn first and Gwynn deduced it must be Aylee.
