Friday was here earlier, but since nothing was happening, it left.

Guess it should have stayed around a bit longer...

hmm, nothing about Aylee. yet. I had forgotten she was in critical care.
and there's something about giving your characters last names when they didn't have them before. was that Pete or am I thinking of another webcomic?

These names are perfect "gifts" from Izzy. I'm not surprised that she didn't use Leturg, but it would have been fun!

wouldn't they consider simply getting their old identities back, though? Do they still need to hide?

What I'm really curious about is Torg's facial expression in the first two panels. He looks preoccupied with something. Possibly Aylee considering squish's email subject?

We at least knew that Zoë's last name was Bean, and that Riff's presumably was Wilden (it's unlikely he took his mother's last name or hyphenated it, or Dr. Lorna being his mother wouldn't have come as a surprise to his friends).

Now I want an A&W Root Beer

Now I just wonder what happened to Bun Bun and his bank accounts (probably under fake names).

Du'mas souns like an awesome name. And Riff's name is R&D.

So the names are, in order, Hoeey, Isha, Darlington, Du'mass. So their names are HIDD. Nice.

Oh man "It's Du'mas" I haven't thought about that commercial in a looooong time. And in classic commercial tradition, remembering it utterly failed to remind me of what it was for. Insurance? Candy bars? Jeans? Who cares! What matters is that despite being memorable, it utterly failed to achieve its purpose

You realize you are about 20 years off from that joke being topical?

I think it was a Twix commercial (i.e. "Need a moment? Chew it over with Twix"). Either way, I not sure the ability to recall what a commercial was advertising years later is a good gauge of its effectiveness. I think it was pretty clear at the time. Not that it ever made me run out to buy Twix.

I posted a link to it above. It was A&W Root Beer ("now that's thick headed").
