It seems that Rana has Sunheimer's. Does she even know that it's Friday?

I love the pause and focus in the panel "there were a lot of names in there." It's both solemn and referencing our feeling of the many names we may have forgotten.

Rana should re-read the Mohkadun chapter like I did!

So Rana memory is spent and she is lost to ignorance, while Dunoloa has perfect clarity and is lost to hatred.

A sad fate for both.

Pete just loves it when we go back to read his old stuff. Some years I actually take the time to just re-read from the start. There's more here than whole series of tv shows to remember and keep up on. Especially since it's not necessarily episodic in nature always. But really, I love it.

To be fair to Rana, she spent about a thousand years with only half her name being worshipped.

Friday June 12, 2020: Your Horoscope for the day:

With the rare juxtaposition of the Sun and Moon both passing through Recap, expect much activity this summer. Be especially wary of bugs should you venture out. Although friends may be of great comfort and joy, be careful of friends who are into books. Remember the sword you bear has two edges.

Don't worry Sungirl (there's gotta be a fitting Beach Boy song), we are just as confused as you - or were, earlier in the week, before we went back to read and read and delight in the desert story. Now I remember. I remember everything. Kizke was very clever there, manipulating events so he would get an advantage in the future, the better to destroy the world. Riff got his bad eyesight because his ancestor Symachus was cursed with blindness. And Sluggy's Freelance now - it was Bun-Bun's declaration of independence after the Time Father threw him out of the pyramid of the gods, like he threw out everyone else. Tempest's spider made Sluggy Freelance the words with which to release all the potentials at once and save the world.

Torg's sword came from another dimension, and so Time Father Khronus, lord of gods, set up timeless space as a buffer between our world and others. Tempest was tasked with guarding it, as a punishment for his negligence.

I had forgotten about Santa's name. He was the god of joy, the Krig, a name from the extinct warring people he came from. Krig means war in Swedish. Or maybe Pete was thinking more of Krieg, war, in German. Krig Gaul - Kringle.

Dunuloa swore that mankind would know fear, thus creating Bast, Baphomet. And the mummy that chased Torg and Riff - her servant to protect her workshop. Now she is on the moon.

Absolutely, it doesn't even compare. Reading half an hour of Sluggy archives is far more entertaining than almost any TV show. Sluggy and Frasier.

I've re-read from the beginning a couple of times. MUCH more frequently, though, I'll follow a ref link, and ... 5 hours disappear. There are many story lines I've read dozens of times.

This stuff is crack, Pete. You should be ashamed. Or proud, one of the two...

Returning to the Twins creates a wonderful opportunity, though.
All Tor has to do is declare his devotion and fealty to Dunoloa and he'll become...
The Dork of the Moon!
(That's a joke, not spec.)

You missed the chance for a 'Dork Side of the Moon' pun. ;)

I feel like Dunuloa's reaction should have been more like this:
