Well.
This is a suitably epic opening to a chapter titled The Immortal King.

Wow! (For many reasons!) I'll have to go back and reread the relevant chapters! And the floating eyes are certainly reminiscent of a recent encounter...

So... not everyone was converted to Holiday. I wonder if this is the chapter where a little more of a backstory of a god Sluggy/Bun-Bun will be revealed .

I wonder if I was the only one hoping for this chapter to be about The King Under the Mountain (a.k.a. Brain Digbot) rising to immortality?

Well, this quickly turn a turn for the epic.
Right away, makes Anima look like it was something of a breather arc.

Solar eclipse... but she's on the moon. A solar eclipse is just another day on the moon, and oh by the way we're casting a shadow on the Earth. But Dunuloa wouldn't notice because she's on the light side of the moon. Dunuloa was the Moon Twin and the magic expert. So why is she an ordinary-looking human with a cloak, while Rana is an apparently moon-based anima-goddess-looking thing? EDIT: No wait, the Time Father sent Dunuloa to the moon, and "Ra 'Na" to the sun ( frame 2). So apparently Dunuloa is on the moon, and she's talking to Rana in the sun. I think.

What I was saying was, Dunuloa's on the light (sun-facing) side of the moon. We can see the sunlight and shadows &etc. And on the sun-facing side of the moon, a solar eclipse is a total non-event. You can't tell it's happening at ALL. You can't even see the Earth from the sun-facing side during an eclipse. If you're on the dark (earth-facing) side, you could see a dark spot move across the face of the earth. (See e.g. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RIVXZtcXxzg) You have to be IN that dark spot, on the Earth, for a solar eclipse to be interesting. So the fact that there's a solar eclipse somewhere on the Earth isn't significant to Dunuloa, or really to Rana either. Rana might notice the moon passing in front of the Earth but that's not terribly exciting. The eclipse is only noteworthy to a few people in the right spot on Earth.

"There is no dark side of the moon, really... as a matter of fact, it's all dark." ;) Although not really. There's just no atmosphere to diffuse the sunlight to an all-encompassing sky blue. Although I was expecting this chapter to tie back to Mohkadun, I was not expecting it to open with the twins. Nicely done, Pete!
