That new opening screen with the blue water was such a relief, to me as well as Torg and Zoe!

What a sunny panel, such a surprise!
Imagine, fifteen thousand years have gone by since they lived in a civilization. The time passing in the anima world with every use of the DFA is staggering. Glad they don't have to live in the dark ruins with Troloria, though. But I think they would have been happier in the empty buildings with the robots and hot showers. Cursed Cupidine, ruining everything.
I suddenly realized why there were only lizard people in the Medieval world where Cupidine was captured. Back then I wondered if it was just their village. Now I understand that it was because it was Troloria's vision. I wonder what kind of people and civilization they will meet this time.

The image of the sea is so calming. It's amazing what you can do with a bunch of hasty lines, a bit of colouring and a lot of skill.

What I see is the same kind of people (with pointed ears, black eyes, and natural mohawk-style hair growth, and presumably blue skin) who have been in the majority in all the eras. Of course, it's true there are no caribs or "kobolds" this time, let alone sapient birds, but these others were never common anyway.

Talking to maya is definitely a zoe job. She was maya's partner and part of the reason she is even with them. Beyond that, torg isn't always the best with these kinds of talks. I mean, 50/50 chance maybe he'll make her hate them worse (until another crisis where hero torg steps up).

I figured Silverwalker was referring to Daebo and others like him, and that your reference to "kobolds" was the same. One word ("Crap.") turned this into a Friday cliffhanger! Dun Dun DUNNNNNN!

Maya only got dragged along with them because she refused to listen to Zoe and stole (sorry, tried to "bring it to the Lyceum for documentation") the DFA. It's entirely her fault so she's got no right to blame the crew. Seems very strange to have a strip with absolutely ZERO color in it, after 15 months with animae.

Entirely true, however, Zoe did tell Maya all about where they came from and the DFA. Had she not volunteered that info to Maya, this would not have happened. That's why I say part of the reason.
