I'm just, personally, not very partial to teasing.

I'm the oldest male in a family with 7 kids. Teasing is my only mode of communication.

That was great, especially since Pete knows just how long people have been asking about the meaning of Sluggy, and knows that now there will probably be people arguing about what that one cut-off word is ;).

It seems like you're feeling like your old self again Pete. Keep it that way, and don't try to do another story that's so involved too soon. I've been enjoying the last week.

Kind of amusing what kind of questions people ask. Understandable questions, yet also questions that go understandably unanswered for reasons mentioned in the comic.

I don't see why anyone would be worried about not seeing Oasis again though... She always comes back eventually. And technically she is less mortal then the main characters!

Honestly, even if Oasis got the Bun-Bun treatment or got completely desintegrated we'd probably still see her return good as new a few months/years later... Thats just the kind of girl she is, it seems so far. (not really a spec as much as simple observation of how its been up till now.)

Aylee on the other hand, I am worried about... I hope that gets answered soon.


Also... I kinda wondered.. Why is Sasha so popular? I mean, she looks cute but most Sluggy women do. And she was funny enough, but I personally never thought she had as much charisma as Zoe and Gwynn have. Honestly... if she returns, its fine by me. But if she never resurfaces it ain't any hair of my back. I don't have more love for her then I do for say... Crystal. Actually I'd even think I like Crystal slightly better even with her drinks. But she seems less popular then Sasha.

Is there any particular comic or storyline that made Sasha such a hot item amongst the sluggites or is it just her looks and/or her I-don't-care-about-what-happens-but-I-am-still-curious-about-it vibe?

Not dissing the Sasha-lovers, just curious about it. I don't see what the big deal is about her. Maybe its just taste?

Why Sasha? It's because Sasha is cool, she's fun, she doesn't fly off the handle at the drop of a hat... because she's not Gwynn. She tried to get Torg and Zoe together. She wisecracked about the robot hand that went through Torg's ceiling not having a ring on it. She followed the guys and ended up clotheless, wearing naught but a floatie and some plush toys.

Sasha is someone many guys wish they could meet and go out with. More, it's someone that we wish Riff was still dating, because we can't see Gwynn and Riff being back together. And because the end of Riff and Sasha's relationship was so abrupt and idiotic that I'm sure half of us would gladly smack Riff upside the back of the head.

Why Sasha? Because she's Sasha. Because she outcools even Riff. Because she rocks. Because.

It's not the best Tryka pic, is reused, and not very happy-Xmassy or even scary-Haloweeny one which is why the strip didn't get a perfect 7 out of 7 poings from us. But hey Tryka still rocks!

P.S.: It's certainly better than Ian's latest bigeyes Tryka, which has confused one more person today! *GROAN*
